Internship Overview
At One Voice One Team, our internships are designed to give students and emerging professionals meaningful, hands-on experience while contributing to programs that empower the next generation of leaders. Interns work closely with our team to support youth programming, community engagement, and organizational growth. Each role provides an opportunity to develop real-world skills while making a tangible impact in the community.
Internships may be part-time or full-time, depending on the student’s academic requirements and availability. Many roles are hybrid, combining remote work with occasional in-person programming or events.
Our internships typically open seasonally in Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer, depending on organizational needs.

Responsibilities may include:

- Supporting grant research and fundraising initiatives

As a part of the hiring processes, you will be subjected to complete an online assessment which may be considered lengthy. By completing this online pre-interview assessment, our organization “One Voice One Team” will be able to assess the goals, characteristics and skills of each candidate, allowing us to identify the candidates that best align with our values and vision.
One Voice One Team Youth Leadership Organization is currently recruiting a Content Creator primarily responsible for promoting summer camp, developing strategies for creative marketing campaigns, and capturing content (pictures, videos, testimonials, etc.) that will effectively communicate OVOT’s mission and programs to the public and other stakeholders.
You will be responsible for:
- Posting graphics, images and messaging that bring to life the vision and culture of OVOT
- Working with Social Media Manager and marketing team to correspond and provide insight and maintain on online engagement, idea, scheduling
- Gathering Video testimonials
- Establishing and maintaining social media correspondence with parents and guardians
- Daily capturing, editing, and sharing of pictures, flyers, other promotional material, videos, social media posts and feedback of campers and staff
- Attending staff training, summer camp, and field trips to take photos and videos for campers, parents/guardians and the greater community to get insight into the camper experience
Compensation Range: $17.30 – $18.55 (based on province)

We are currently seeking a passionate and creative individual for a part-time Social Media Coordinator position. As our Social Media Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our digital presence to effectively engage our audience and promote our mission. Your responsibilities will include implementing social media strategies, creating compelling content across various platforms, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize our online presence. In addition, you will collaborate with team members to align social media efforts with overall organizational goals and initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your creativity, strategic thinking, and passion for making a positive impact through digital communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor interactions, respond to comments/messages, and build audience engagement.
- Analyze social media performance and optimize strategies for growth.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure brand consistency.
- Support multimedia content creation, including graphics and videos.
Qualifications:
- Min 1-2 years of experience in social media, marketing, or communications.
- Strong storytelling, writing, and content creation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with analytics and social media advertising is a plus.
- Experience with graphic design or video editing is a bonus.
Compensation: $20-22/hr
