Empower Up Event: A Day of Inspiration and Growth at One Voice One Team Youth Leadership Organization’s New Office!
On Tuesday, May 14th, we celebrated a significant milestone at One Voice One Team with the grand opening of our new office in Brampton. This momentous event brought together students from neighbouring schools, esteemed partners, and our generous donors, all united under the inspiring theme of “Empower Up.”
A Transformative Day for Youth and Community
The “Empower Up” event was designed to ignite the flames of leadership, self-discovery, and empower the youth and community members. From the moment our doors opened, the atmosphere was electric, fuelled by the passion and dedication of our OVOT staff. Students participated in immersive workshops specifically tailored to enhance their leadership skills, career development and foster personal and mental well-being.
We were thrilled to collaborate with our esteemed partners, The Whiteboard Collective, to offer insightful sessions focusing on career development. Students gained invaluable tools and insights, equipping them to navigate the professional landscape with confidence and clarity.
Building Bridges and Fostering Connections
The heart of the event pulsed in our boardroom, where vibrant discussions took place among our partners, donors, educators, and supporters. Together, we envisioned the boundless possibilities and shared commitment to furthering OVOT’s mission of nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
