Expanding Our Mission: Da Spot and Empowered Up Day
Thanks to the incredible success of our 2023 gala, One Voice One Team made a significant leap forward. In May 2024, we proudly hosted our first Empowered Up Day to celebrate the opening of Da Spot; One Voice One Teams Head Quarters. This space is more than just an office—it’s a community hub where youth and families can gather, access resources, and participate in life-changing programs.
The grand opening marked a pivotal moment, showcasing our commitment to being a safe haven for youth. On Empowered Up Day, we saw first-hand the impact of creating spaces that foster leadership, personal growth, and community engagement. This facility gives us the ability to run programs designed to empower youth and their families, offering a place to belong, learn, and excel. We want to offer after-school programming, breakfast clubs and access to the arts and physical activities.
Our vision is to make Da Spot a place where youth, parents, and the community can depend on. It’s not just a facility—it’s a beacon of hope, inclusion, and opportunity.
